9-13 LD/50 update
Monday, 13 September 2010 11:04

I wanted to inform everyone out there that LD/50 has recruited drummer Tony Providence (A Band Called Pain). The first time I saw Tony play with his band I was blown away by his power and prowess. There’s something about watching a drummer play with confidence that can’t be denied. It took awhile to get a hold of Tony as he was busy touring, recording and working on movie soundtracks. But the word got out that he had left “A Band Called Pain” and I began the search.

We have begun rehearsals and are planning on putting the rehearsal videos on our website www.LD-50.com. Along with preparing for upcoming shows we are planning on getting in the studio to record another cd in October. Busy, busy, busy...

Tony’s first show will be on 10/30/2010 in Livermore Ca. We are headlining a Halloween show/party that is sure to be a huge hit. Not only do we have Serpent & Seraph, The Venting Machine and Relic playing, there will be a $10.00 admission and a $25.00 V.I.P which includes free drink tickets, free meal, and seating in the mezzanine that includes snacks and drinks and cd’s from all the bands. First place winner of the costume contest will win a plasma t.v. If that’s not enough, a Dean guitar will be raffled off and the first 25 people in will get a free event t-shirt.

This is the beginning of a west coast mini tour that we are very excited about. The new LD/50 cd was released in late March 2010 and hit #16 on the CMJ charts and #33 on the Sirius Radio Liquid Metal charts.  We’re looking forward to getting the show on the road. More shows will be announced shortly.
